Abstract/Summary:
Along with the fast development of computer and communication technology, network plays an important role in people’s lives and work, and becomes an importantmeans to get information quickly and conveniently. However, with the spread ofnetwork application, IPv4became an obstacle to the network development because ofits insufficient space. So, a new protocol address is required to replace the recent one.IPv6is a new network protocol put forward after IPv4. Its sufficient address spaceand excellent service quality provide a strong support and large space for theapplication and development of next generation Internet. Since it’s a long period oftime to replace IPv4with IPv6, it’s necessary to build the IPv6experimental net, obtaining the rich and important experience by collecting the related technology, whichis very useful to expand IPv6. The thesis firstly analyzes the recent status and trendIPv6both domestic and abroad, and introduces the feature and address systemstructure of IPv6protocol. After that, it makes a research on the distribution of variousnode of campus network, by using the crucial Technology to transit from IPv4to IPv6,and also draws the topology structure map of campus network. According to the realrequirement from different users, the thesis draws out the experimental imitated map. Itmakes use of the graphical network simulators and sets up the network experimentalenvironment, so that it can imitate and achieve the program which is used inexperiment. The campus network structure is classified into three levels. The central computerroom of network is arranged at the kernel level; the central computer room of thesecondary organization is arranged at the gather level; the different official users arearranged at the edge of connect level. In the experiment, the requirement of IPv6network is received according to the need of users from different level, and the variousrouters are disposed. Through building the Dual IP Stack, transforming PAT and settingup Tunnels among the related routers, the users can visit the IPv6and enjoy itsresources. Since the users may exist dynamically in different levels, the technology called Intra-Site Automatic Tunnel Addressing Protocol is used to dispose ISATAPServer which can distribute ISATAP address prefixes. The Domain host can receive theaddress prefixes from ISATAP interface and insert IPv4address into IPv6address. Inthis way, the automatic communication is realized and users can visit IPv6network.Along with the continuous spread of digital campus project and the constantexpansion of the scale of campus network function, it is very important to developcampus network environment. Thus, it has a profound significance to study the schemeof campus network location and development in the IPv6network.
