| Archives is a product of human civilization，and is the original history. Archivesis the treasure trove of history, civilization and knowledge of mankind.Thedevelopment of human civilization has spawned archives and archival work. And thesubstantial accumulation of archival culture has produced a strong reaction to thecommunity. This reaction to maintain the heritage of Chinese civilization andaccelerated the spread and development of human civilization. Archives is the mainbody of the file system,and is collections of the archives of institutions, and isavailable to the public body of the utilization of archives. Archives management ofarchives is how to resolve file and file information should be managed and whatmethods should be adopted to manage. This article take the records management workof Hunan Province archives as the object of study. It hopes to raise the level ofarchives management in China.This article first expounded scholars at home and abroad for archives managementof the relevant research results,and carried on the concept definition and functionanalysis of archives and archives,and pointed out the archives management system.And then, this article was the introduction and analysis on the basic situation ofarchives management in Hunan Province Archives. and identified existing problems:archives constitute imbalance; file management incomplete; attaching importance topolitical class file and ignoring the cultural archives; low utilization ratio of archives.The article identifying the cause of the problem: the guiding ideology of conservatism;the privileged thinking of importance to its own interestsd and ignoring the publicinterest; the hysteresis quality of the archival law; the capability of file clerks shouldbe improved. Also the article through comparison of provincial general archives andother archives, and professional archives, and libraries,and museums, learned usefulexperience and Finds good positioning of the provincial archives.It can determine thedevelopment direction of the provincial archives.At last, the article was coming upwith reasonable proposals for the problems in Hunan Provincial Archives:perfectinglegislation on Archives;sound archives management;improving the quality of archivists;strengthening the social archive consciousness. For the Government to change status ofChinese archives conservative, it provides possible measures. It can make the Archivesprovide file services to the community better and allows better public services for thepublic in the future. |
