With the continuous improvement of people`s living standards, a variety of mediainformation most beautiful picture and video information to provide users with convenience. The size of the display is required expand the display area. But people can not afford tomonitor unlimited lager. We must meet the need of the people but can not unlimited increasedisplay size. Based on the above, consider the design of FPGA-based digital video displayextend splicing. Through the expansion of computer graphics, a single output to multipledisplay, has been rendered more rich video information. The design allows PC graphics card to a single output extend to three or more monitors,so that ordinary single PC with any software or hardware changes to complete themulti-screen display. The system consists of following components. FPGA minimum system, data acquisition A/D module, data output D/A module, DVI interface module The designcollection of digital video signal by the Sil1161, and then the FPGA for data processing,Analog signals into digital signals by Sil164. Finally, three DVI port connection to threemonitors to achieve the purpose of the three-screen display. The final completion of thecomputer screen display supports input video pixels maximum frequency of330MHz. Asingle output interface pixel maximum frequency of165MHz. Support the output imageresolution:2400*600(3*800*600),3072*768(3*1024*600). Refresh rate of60Hz. Displayscreen without flicker or jitter. At last, by bringing SignalTap online simulation analysisresults have not image distortion and achieve the expected goal.
