| Power Line Communication(PLC) is a new technology which applies data acquisition,transmission and processing through Power Line Network.Reading data of water,power,gas in Automatic Meter Reading System,and controlling path light system,and other system,all employ PLC technology.In the passed AMR system, wireless communication system was used to transmitting data processing center and meter.Generally,There are equipped with public communication network between data processing center and management center.Nowadays,The hard platform which utilize ARM processor as a main processor is low costing,high reliable,and can be cropped and customized the peripheral circuit in embedded application system.In the meantime,It is a reliable hard platform for running embedded operating system.This thesis is to study and design the concentrator to transmit,acquire and process data between meter and processing center based on ARM and PLC system.This thesis is to study the following six technologies:Firstly, the the principle of PLC technology is introduced. Secondly, this thesis introduces some familiar AMR systems and their structure home and abroad,and analyzes the significance of concentrator in AMR system.Thirdly, based on there requirement of this project research, this thesis introduces the related technologies, such as embedded system, embedded operating systems and characteristics,ARM and so on. Fourthly,the building of the concentrator hardware platform is based on ARM.The hardware platform utilizes ARM920T-cored S3C2440A from Samsung Corporation as a main microprocessor, and completes the design of peripheral devices according to the system’s demand,including the designs of LCD display drive circuit,memory expansion,USB interface circuit,the serial communication circuit,wireless and GPRS communication module, the PLC interface circuit.At last but not at least,this article introduces the transplantation of the Linux operating system and the development of Boot Loader during the platform transplant,the driver development with serial ports, LCD driver, and the customization procedure of the core. At the end of this thesis, it points out the difficulties of the concentrator and the future development of concentrator technology in future. |
