College Archives Management Personnel Occupation Moral Construction

In the first place, this thesis elaborates related conceptions and the theoretical basis of professional ethics and then analyzes the significance of the construction of professional ethics of archives management personnel in colleges and universities. Furthermore, the fundamental professional ethics which people, as qualified archives management personnel, should have will be discussed from four aspects:correcting work attitudes, maintaining files’ integrity, keeping security regulations, and enhancing legal consciousness. Moreover, the main problems exhibiting in the course of constructing professional ethics are summarized by questionnaires. At last, this thesis puts forward the main measures of strengthening professional ethics of archives management personnel:improving professional skills, intensifying professional disciplines, training professional conscience, and cherishing professional honors.The author would like to make a contribution to the construction of professional ethics of archives management personnel in colleges and universities, even at the margins, by this study.
