| In a modern economy, a large percentage of the payments for goods and servicesinvolve one or more banks’ transactions. The banking systems have become increasinglyimportant to profitability of financial institutions as well as adding convenience to theircustomers. The politics of the worldwide banking system is to minimize the expenses andtherefore, increase revenues and provide not only beneficial and comfort services tocustomers, but also protection and safety of data. This factor is not shelter to Guinea, untiltoday where banks are not interconnected. In most banks, the number of customers andoperations’ background will increase day and day, resulting in the use of large servers.This project is developed to bring database and web service together. It shows howdatabase can be managed and allow user to store and retrieve data. We are using webservice technology with ASP.NET to design the demonstration which includes sixmodules: General Record, Account Management, Fund/Money Transfer, LoanApplication, Report querying and Closing Account.ASP.NET has many excellent libraries, easy to use, that provides fast, customizedaccess to DBMSs and is an ideal tool for developing application logic. However, themajor advantage of this thesis is that it permits the transaction between Guinea banks andmultiple users can access the database at the same time in methodic way. In addition, thissystem will manage large amounts of related information. Interconnected banking hasnowadays become more profitable for banking companies in the vision of facilitating andcreating the favorable climate of the banking operations. This will retain our attention forthe modernization of the Guinean banking system.In this thesis, we will discuss the general study of Database design and the bankingsystem with the special case of Guinea. We create a banking database and discuss the WebService access network for the implementation of the interconnection between Guineabanking. |
