The rapid development of information technology enhanced the competitionamong enterprises to some extent. In order to improve the competitiveness ofenterprises, accelerate development of information technology and management levelof enterprises, the information technology to the production and development is themain way for enterprise development. Mold Company is order-oriented productionenterprise, which is difficult to control the production process due to the randomorders.On the basis of the development status of the mold companies, this paperdiscovered and summaries the problems of enterprise in the production andmanagement. After depth analysis on the company’s production processes andmanagement processes, this paper build the system architecture and achieved.This study focused on the following:(1) In-depth understanding of the current status of the development of moldindustry, identifying problems encountered in the production process, and researchingknowledge involved in system building.(2) According to the needs of business users, the UML modeling techniques wasused for domain modeling and use case modeling, which clarified the link betweenthe various entities.(3) According to the data involved in the production process, combined with thecharacteristics of the data stream to build the database of the system.(4) The production process is divided into multiple processes, the concept ofcurrent engineering was introduced into production scheduling for achievingmanagement of production. Using BOM table achieved automatic schedulingproduction, and the results were to show in the form of a Gantt chart.Mold production management system blended various processes in the mold,meted the needs of users using concurrent engineering. The realization processcombined with the actual production process, and greatly promoted exchangesbetween customers, designers, managers, and reduces production costs, improvedcustomer satisfaction. Because of real-time data acquisition and development stage,the subject also has a large room for improvement.
