Big passenger jet embodies the national industrial, scientific and technological level, and comprehensive strength. It is the will of the nation and its entire people to have a Chinese large aircraft soar into the blue sky. Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing CO., Ltd., the manufacturing and assembly center of the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd., undertakes the manufacturing and assembly task of ARJ21regional aircraft and C919trunk line with full independent intellectual property rights. Because aircraft assembly has the typical characteristics of wide scope, complicated processes, great amount of data and flexible operations site, which raises the new requirement for the on-site assembly technology, it is particularly important to carry out the digital management in big passenger jets assembly site.This paper first analyzes the domestic and foreign current status and developing tendency, introduces the present situation of research on management of assembly outline, ink change and on-site operational control, and indicates the implication of this article. The paper analyzes the features and the management process of assembly outline for big passenger jets. The general frame of on-site management system for assembly outline is constructed in the key technical aspects; next, the paper analyzes and points out utilizing the model vision of assembly outline for the whole aircraft as the data source of assembly on-site management system. This paper is based on the service-oriented architecture. And the main aim of it is to achieve the assembly in the assembly of the differences between aircraft assembly site outline information and product data management system. PDM system assembly outline information extracted from MBOM through web services which are provided by this system information and then make them persist stored in the manufacture execution system. And also suggest that using the jBPM workflow design and implement to change the workflow. Finally, the paper describes the functional design plan for assembly on-site management system of big passenger jets, and demonstrates the feasibility of the study through the application in the enterprise.
