In the rapid development of information technology, China’s land resources management information system has made great progress. However, as China’s rapid economic development, the rapid increase of population, the city changes a course accelerate and the improvement of people’s living standards, construction land growth, agricultural structure changes ceaselessly, present land use changes accelerate, land resources management information system construction research underlines lack, how to use the advanced information technology to solve land natural resources management issues, has become a pressing matter of the moment. In order to promote land natural resources use plan scientifically, improve land use planning review operational efficiency, standardize management of land use planning, and gradually establish and improve the land use planning management information system has important practical significance. In order to strengthen the construction of municipal land and resources planning management, developed a" Wujiaqu City Land and resources information management system". In this system, data management as the core, to regulate the flow and the laws and regulations as the basis, to land and resources management work flow as the main line, using the advantages of databases, for Wujiaqu City land resources management to provide strong support.This paper mainly introduces the land and resources information management system’s basic structure and design thinking. Save a lot of manpower, material resources, reduce the administrative cost, and easy to operate. With the data for the design of the core, advanced data management mode, open application architecture, system customization, the mainstream thought of software platform features, applicable to the management of land resources. The system based on geographic information system for the core support technology in land management, business management, integrated management of land resources in the field of advanced information processing technique, to realize the management information input, storage, update, query and statistical analysis. The system has the advantages of simple operation, advanced technology, flexible configuration, application of strong, consistent with the land and resources management department of the actual need of the work, the Wujiaqu City Land Resources Bureau actual application proof, can effectively improve the work efficiency and working level, it has great practical value, social benefit and popularization meaning.
