| As the rapid development of electronic technology in21century,more and morekinds of electronic products have appeared,which are higher and higher performanceand wider and wider used. They are necessary in our daily life and work..But all wooland a yard wide power supply is need to support their high performance.Now thecapability of modern power supply is hoped for high reliability,high stability, highefficiency, small volume and light weight.Depended on the development current of modern Switching Power Supply,a kindof Current Mode Switching Power supply Controller chip is researched anddesigned.On account of the advantages of high speed,high transconductance andmature technology,we use a kind of bipolar process——SB45V bipolar processprovided by HUAYUE Microelectronics Company.The design work has been finished.In this thesis,first,the principles of pulse width modulation (PWM) and currentcontrol mode are introduced,according to which and the performance guideline,thesystem architecture is designed and the work process is explained.Second,the system iscomposed of different module circuits,which are band gap reference,oscillator,highgain and broad bandwidth error amplifier, current sense comparator, under-voltagelockout, reference good logic and high current totem pole output.According to thecircuit parameter,the transistor circuits of modules and system are designed byCadence Composer tool,emulated by Cadence Spectre tool.Third, SB45V bipolarprocess is introduced detailed, on the design rules of which the layouts of all kinds ofdevices and the whole circuit are designed by Cadence Virtuoso tool.How to make thelayouts reliability is emphasized.DRC and LVS are necessary to the layouts byCadence Dracula tool and post-simulation by Hspice.The design work of this chip has been finished.But because of the short time,ithasn’t been taped-out. |
