Networked real-time control experimental system is a universal experimental teaching platform for automation discipline education. Different from the traditional real-time control experimental system, this system is based on networked, rapid control prototype. Software platform plays an important role in networked real-time control experimental system. At present, most of the softwares available for networked real-time control experiments are too poor in auxiliary functions, general, and prices to make full advantage of using the experimental system. Thus the development of software system for networked real-time control experimental system, which is education-theory embedded, feature-rich and efficient, deserves the top priority in the implementing of experimental system. To solve the problem of using this system for teaching and meet the functional requirements, software platform is designed, developed, and fully verified by specified experiments, based on the existing networked real-time control experimental hardware platform. The main contributions of the dissertation are,1. According to developing present situation of networked real-time control experimental system, the architecture is analyzed deeply. The software platform is researched, which is the important part of the experimental system. Combined the characteristics with domestic and international numerous real-time control software platform, based on the hardware platform, the overall design of general software platform is proposed using network and RCP. And then, demand analysis, functional design and structure design is realized.2. After overall design of the system, softeware platform is designed and developed detailedly. To meet the functional requirements, seven functional modules are designed. They are dynamic dock human-computer interface module, network communication interface module, multi-software platform interaction interface module, real-time data monitoring module, data format storage module, dynamic scalable experiment management module, open independent experiment extension module. Through various advanced software technology and open source community support for the project, each module is developed. The realization of the functional design has basically completed.3. Software platform is fully verified by specified experiments. In the experimental system, Pendubot and Double tank system is choosen as controlled object. Balance, swing, track control experments of Pendubot and flow, level, temperature, pressure control experments of Double tank are completed using Networked real-time control experimental software platform. Experimental results show that the software platform can be conveniently auxiliary physics experiment system, and can be used friendly. At the same time, the software platform can be used for senior complex control theory and aided teaching. In the area of guiding students experimental teaching, this software platform has certain innovation.
