In order to let the driver drive safely, the automobile instrument which is used to provide real-time traffic information is very important. In order to display the vehicle information accurately, the accuracy of automobile instrument is very important. In the meantime, the test of automobile instrument is also must not be overlooked. There are a lot of test decive for automotive instrument on the current market, but most of them are based on the MCU or VB, with lots of peripheral circuits, they are huge volume and poor expansibility.These traditional automobile instrument testing equipment only can provide users with a group of limited function to the instructions of the car instrument error inspection through the front panel, which assemble all the hardware and software. With the development of electronic technology, the virtual instrument technology come into being.Based on the virtual instrument technology, the computer is connected to limited hardware resource simply, combined with strong control ability.In that way, testing time is shorten and the testing efficiency is improved.At the same time, development costs has been saved in maximum, the capacity of software data analysis and storaging is also improved greatly.In this paper, the type of automobile instrument and their structure have been researched.After understanding and analyzing the structure principle and principle of speedometer,tachometer,water thermomter and fuel gauge, the software and hardware products of NI and personal computer are used to design and development a test device of electric automobile cluster,on the basis of understanding the type and parameters of sensor input signal, the industry standards of corresponding automobile instrument. According to the various sensor signal are needed in this test device of electric automobile cluster, the data acquisition card of NI and peripheral hardware circuit are connected with the automobile instrument to be tested. Then by using the LabVIEW software platform of NI, the complete system of test device for electric automobile cluster are designed and developed.The test system have friendly and convenient operation interface, with modularization, reusable characteristics.The development cycle has been greatly shorten, the efficience has been improved, the cost of test in real life has been reduced. |
