J2EE-based Design And Implementaion Of Information Platform In Colleges And Universities

With the development of information technologies in recent years, theinformationalization construction in college has made significant progress. Thetraditional college campus is evolving into a new type of digital campus. Some collegesand universities at home and abroad have proposed to take “University ResourcePlanning (URP)” as a solution to informationalization construction of college. Thispaper, based on the present status of informationalization in colleges at home andabroad, makes an analysis of the domestic problems in informationalizationconstruction, and at the same time introduces the advanced experience ininformationalization construction of foreign colleges and universities. Considering thecurrent status, this writer also proposes some realistic ideas for informationalizationconstruction of colleges as well as universities, which are of great help in building apositive interaction platform for the informational construction and management ofuniversities. The main achievements are as follows:1. Study the present situation informationalization construction of colleges anduniversities at home and abroad, drawing on successful experiences and lessons.Considering the actual situation of our school, the author raises an overall thought ofinformationalization construction.2. Introduce the J2EE and other related technology. On the basis of the actualsituation of informationalization construction of colleges and universities, the authormakes a technical solution based on SSH+Oracle technology.3. Make needs analysis in each primary business unit, including mainly suchsectors as student management, teaching affairs management, library management,document management and portal site etc.4. State the design goal, overall design, network design, the logical database design,and project management of the system platform for the informationalization in collegesand universities.5. Explain the environment for realizing the informationalization platform incolleges and universities, technical difficulties, and the deployment and testing of the platform.Through the project development phase, this software has the versatility and thepractical application value.
