Hospital Medicine Management Information System Design And Implementation

With the in-depth development of information technology (IT), it has been appliedto all walks of life. And the informatization of hospital drug management has alsobecome an important application in the health industry, as it introduces computertechnology, network technology, sensor technology, image technology and otherstate-of-the-art information technologies into the medical industry, combining the entiremedical resources in the hospital with a variety of medical services to focus on everypatient. In recent years, the informatization construction in many large andmedium-sized hospitals have made gratifying achievements with wide application ofinformation technology. However, in the small hospitals and community health centers,the informatization course has just started. As drug management is one of the cores inthe day-to-day management in hospitals, the informatization construction is veryimportant.The thesis introduces the domestic and overseas research status of the hospital druginformation system and made classifications and comparisons of domestic researches. Itincludes the characteristics of the drug management in small hospitals and communityhealth centers and analyzes the functions and structures of the system, taking intoaccount the actual situation of the network construction of small hospitals andcommunity health centers.(The system uses B/S structure with ASP.NET as adevelopment tool and SQL Sever2005as the background database.) On the basis ofin-depth analysis of the demand for hospital drug management, the thesis designs anddevelops a hospital drug information management system, which is based on B/S modeland includes four major sections: prescription and dispensing for patients, drugmanagement in the storeroom, background management and information inquiry ofdoctors.The thesis mainly explores the following aspects:First, it briefly introduces hospital information system, especially the drugmanagement system, and its development status home and abroad; it elaborates thetechnologies related to system development; it compares the characteristics of C/S and B/S structures respectively and expounds the reason why B/S structure is selected in thesystem development.Second, it analyzes the demand for hospital drug management information systemin detail, including the design objectives, design principles, feasibility analysis,functional requirements, and so on.Third, it finishes the design of hospital drug management information system,including the designs of systemic function, systemic overall structure and a data flowdiagram. A detailed design for the whole system is completed.Fourth, it elaborates the concrete implementation of the hospital drug managementsystem, providing the main program codes and flow charts of activities.Fifth, it briefly discusses the test environment and functional testing of the system.
