With the rapid development of Internet technology and information technology inthe modern marine on the widespread application, automatic information system willplay the unprecedented role in many aspects. Such as: the safety of the ship sailing,improving efficiency, reducing the operating cost and promoting the scientificmanagement and so forth. Therefore, we will develop a software system to realize theautomation and the information of AIS ship scheduling and management. Through thissoftware to manage beacons homework, enhance the measures between the shipscollisions, and it has very important function and meaning. Automatic IdentificationSystem (AIS) as a new maritime administration, playing an increasing role in themaritime administration in today.This thesis introduces the structure and function of AIS shipping navigationmanagement system which is based on browser/server (B/S) model. Firstly, weintroduce the implementation process of the various functional modules in detail. AISShipping Navigation Management System of Guangzhou’s Lighthouse Board is a querysystem that replace the past by a manual check system, mainly to achieve AISautomation, control and management of information technology. We can manageoperations with the software, we can aids to navigation through the Internet queryconditions, and can enhance measures to avoid collision between the ship and ship.Meanwhile, we can see all the ship’s course visualization, route, name of vessel andother information. The thesis tells of the Web side of the site, the electronic chart of GISserver, and the Database. Web server is responsible for the user authentication.Legitimate user puts forward the legitimate queries, Web server proxy wired usersaccess to relevant data from the database, and returns to the appropriate users. At thesame time, Web-side interaction with GIS, GIS server is responsible for providingsystem information needed to chart, and providing operational support for the relatedgeographic information. Database server is data centers of the whole system.This thesis discusses the AIS system is a product of the digital age is based oninformation technology as the guide and lots of technologies as the pillar of the new navigation equipment and systems. And navigation radar with its combination ofmanagement to push the ship sailing to a wide area, independent, intelligent stage,greatly improves the safety of navigation and marine traffic administration efficiency. Itwill play the unprecedented role in many aspects, such as: the ship’s safe navigation andimproves shipping efficiency, reduces operating costs and promotes scientificmanagement.
