In the nineties of the last century, the rapid development of wireless communicationtechnology makes the increasing demand for the wireless location. And the traditional outdoorpositioning technology has matured and is widely used. The very narrow shock pulse of theUltra-Wideband signal makes the signal has a strong anti-interference ability, good penetration, lowcost, low power and so on. Therefore, using Ultra-Wideband technology become the first choice ofthe accurate indoor positioning method. And Ultra-Wideband indoor localization algorithm’sresearch has important significance. The main work of this thesis has:First the thesis researched the UWB indoor channel. The channel model can be used to modifythe initial parameters calculation for localization, and the initial parameters calculation will be moreaccurate. The thesis selected IEEE802.15channel model proposed by IEEE802.15channel modelworking group as the indoor UWB indoor positioning, and provided the channel parameters ofdifferent indoor environment. The paper then presented direct identification algorithm method todeal with the spread of multipath indoor positioning.Indoor positioning algorithm based on parameters measurement is the focus of the thesis. Thethesis established the positioning geometric model and the algorithm for TOA, TDOA, AOA, andRSSI. For each parameter the thesis offered variety of location algorithm for each parameter, andcompared its advantages and disadvantages. Then the innovation of this thesis is presented a hybridlocalization algorithm based on TOA and RSSI, and provide a detailed calculate process for formula.Under the premise of not increasing the complexity of the algorithm, hybrid algorithm improved theindoor positioning accuracy. Finally, the paper carried out simulation experiments using MATLABsimulation software, and comparatived and analysed the simulation results. The results proved thatthe hybrid algorithm is compared with other algorithm has higher accuracy.
