| Currently, TD-SCDMA, the third generation mobile communication standard which China has independently developed, has been applied widely. All TD-SCDMA communication systems exploit two processes:the matched filtering and the frame synchronization, and these two proce-sses, generally occupy certain system resources independently. Such a separately realization str-ucture will cost a lot of system resources. In order to reduce the consumption of system resources, the joint algorithm of matched branch selection and initial frame synchronization as well as two fine frame synchronization algorithms are proposed in this thesis.This thesis takes advantage of the special structure in TD-SCDMA frame and operates the power ratio detection of the output siginal of the matched filter (MF), finally realizes the initial frame synchronization, the largest SNR branch selection and the sample rate reducation. Such a structure reduces system resource consumption. Meanwhile, the initial frame synchronization (FS) degrates the scattering range of timing error, and then the subsequent downlink SYNCDL acquisition can be done with lower complexities. Moreover, because TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE have similar frame structures, the proposed algorithms can be extended to the TD-LTE application. We verify algorithm by MATLAB and VerilogHDL, the result shows a high synchronization accuracy at lower complexity compared with the convential method. |
