Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of the Internet, need the telecom operators’ backbonenetworks have high reliability. However, the existing networks usually throughredundancy equipments and links to improve the reliability of the networks, which isnot only high in investment cost, but also difficult to maintain.In this paper, firstly research the principle of OSPF routing protocol deeply, forthe problem of OSPF routing comsume too much CPU time, to improve the SPFalgorithm, an I-SPF algorithm is designed, the experiment results show that the I-SPFalgorithm can calculate the route next-hop more efficiently. This paper analysis theadvantages and disadvantages of link redundant technology and equipment redundancytechnology which are widely used in the present network products, and design the halfrun mode based on double machine hot standby mechanism. By using a single highavailability backup channel to backup data to avoid the problems which encounter thesame bug with main board easily. At the same time, design the OSPF Non-StopRouting system by recorying configed data、rebuilding neighbourhood、improving theprocess of sending protocol packets and switching main board. Finally make anexpariment for OSPF Non-Stop Rouing system on some routers, and the experimentresults also show that when the main board is at fault, slave board can take over itsbusiness seamlessly,and the system have the ability of non-stop routing.
