Advances in computer technology and the rapid development of microelectronicstechnology accelerate the process of radar to the digital. High-performance dataacquisition system provides the convenience for the algorithm simulation,comprehensive validation, performance evaluation of the radar system, so multi-channel,high precision, high speed, large capacity, long time storage are becoming necessary, tomeet the needs of radar data acquisition and analysis on all kinds of weather, seacondition and air situation.First, this paper describes the major technical indicators of the hardware design ofsystem in detail. Then given the detail hardware circuit design of the four-channel dataacquisition board and the rear I/O board, the research of CPCI/PCI bus and the diskarrays are described at large, and the basic principles and Implementation of the FPGAlogic algorithm. Last, test the performance of the master control software, the A/D, thestorage data, the speed of data transmission of PCI of the data acquisition system andthe overall capability of the entire system. The test results shows that this system meetthe requirement of the radar IF signal acquisition completely.
