The Application Of Epon In Telecom Access Network

recent years, the communication technology develops at a high speed, but due to the constraints of custom density,ueser’s economic affordability and so on, the user access network has been developing slowly,which restricted modern high-speed broadband technology, so we need to achieve digitization, stabilizing of access network technology, economy as soon as possible, to complete the" last one kilometer of the information highway " construction.in order to overcome this bottleneck, after long time investigation and research, China Telecom found that the Ethernet passive optical network (EPON) technology not only conform to the user’s comprehensive access requirements, in line with today’s technology development direction, but also makes a great cost cut for the Internet access,it is a fast and effective solution for access network technology. So china telecom put a lot of manpower and material resources in the test and construction.
