With the fast development of Internet technology and Internet of things, future architecture will be intellectual and multifunctional. Elevator, as electromechanical integration equipment, plays an important role in the transportation of high-rise buildings and is an indispensable part in buildings’automation. As the increasing number of city elevators, the structure of elevators is complicated, thus we need urgently to monitor the on-going state and malfunction of elevators. However, there are many problems in the management and maintenance of traditional elevators such as low-efficiency, high difficult management and maintenance fee. In view of the existing situation, we need to design a specialized monitoring system that combines elevators with Internet.In this paper, the design processes of network monitoring system of Airport elevators are illustrated. At first, the concept of network monitoring system of elevators is introduced and the overall design scheme of this system is given with descriptions of working processes in detail. The hardware platform of the Monitoring system is built with CAN-BA data collector, NPort5130network data converter module, TCC-120extend transmission distance module, RS-485/RS-232conversion module, industrial control computer, etc, main functional parts including power supply module, CPU module, communication module, control module. Then based on this hardware platform, controlling and monitoring of airport elevators is realized by adopting Qt programming combining Signals and Slots mechanism, network communication technology(UDP communication, serial communication), database technology, etc. The whole structure of the software is divided into data transceiver layer, data processing layer, data display layer, moreover, other auxiliary functions like single ladder display, information query, information configuration, data export, icon sorting, alert window are available in this system.Finally, the article tells us how to test the monitoring system in lab, install and debug it and gives specific solutions to problems that we face. The whole monitoring system runs normally in break-in period, which provides convenient and efficient solutions for finding, analyzing, eliminating the problems during operation process. As a result, it can create a comfortable and secure environment.
