In recent years, China’s coal mine accidents rising trend, the State Administration of Coal MineSafety Supervision Bureau issued an urgent notice must be equipment with communication systemunderground, a comprehensive, reliable mine communication system to improve mine efficiencyand safety in production is essential. This paper compares the the mine communication schedulingsystem’s strengths and weaknesses in the current market, given the network structure of t his system,and gives a SIP-based wireless multimedia software overall design of the digital trunking gateway,the gateway mine trunking communication system and mine backbone network interconnection.The gateway as two heterogeneous network interworking bridge, having two types of interface,a wireless interface and a wired interface, and each supports two network protocol stack and allpossible audio codec. SIP trunking gateway receives from two network entity sends the packet, andunpacking, handling, forwarding to the purpose of the network, which implements the data fusionand signaling integration between different networks. Based on the needs analysis on the key issuesthat may arise in the gateway process to propose a solution, a modular program des ign, designgateway software architecture. SIP trunking gateway supports cluster system and IP packet networksingle call, SMS and other multimedia services.
