The Research And Implementation Of Microblog Based Information Hiding Technology

In order to guarantee the communication security and safeguard people’s rights,scholars proposed information hiding technology to achieve the goals. Because peopleare insensitive to tiny changes, besides, redundancy is inevitable in digital media data,content of communication can be hided with specific carriers and it doesn’t changeany appearance. Therefore, information hiding technology is generally applied todifferent types of media including text, audio, image, video, etc. However, researchon text information hiding is little. What’s more, text is better than other types ofcarriers in circulation and transmission efficiency. The paper does a plenty of work ontext information hiding, introduces existing text information hiding technology firstly,then analyzes its features, especially information hiding based on webpage.Existing technology is generally based on modification of webpage source files,secret information is embedded into HTML by changing invisible elements withoutchanging display effect of webpage. These methods leave marks on source files, soattackers can detect and obtain secret information illegally. Besides, withmodification of webpage source files, it separate from the contents of webpage, so itdoesn’t make full use of resource. In accordance with these problems, the paperproposes two methods which are based on webpage information hiding:1. A novel method is proposed which is based on time difference by analyzingthe feature of microblog webpage. This method embeds secret information bycalculating time difference between two adjacent microblog posts, and introduces RunLength Coding to enhance embedding efficiency.2. A method of microblog information hiding is proposed which is based onmatrix coding by analyzing the feature of microblog comments. This method embedssecret information by publishing specific comment with microblog webpage, and thecomment is decided by matrix encoding algorithm.Compared with traditional methods, it is no need to modify webpage source files.Secret information can be embedded into contents of webpage by using microblog.Experimental results show that it has good performance on invisibility.
