Agriculture irrigation water occupied a very big part in the use of freshwaterresources of our country. In order to solve the contradiction that huge demand foragricultural irrigation and water resources shortage in our country, scientificirrigation water transfer for the purpose of information construction in ourcountry is the development direction of irrigation area and water conservancyconstruction.In order to reach this goal, accurate and real-time irrigation data acquisitionand monitoring is indispensable. The information collection system RTU ofirrigation area is designed for the application in this paper.Information collection system of irrigation area component by RTU(RemoteTerminal Unit)and monitoring software. This paper applied the embedded systemtechnology and wireless communication technology for the RTU system whichused for information collection of irrigation area to realize the hydrological dataof automatic monitoring and remote transmission.This design choose the Philips company’s LPC2148microprocessor for theRTU control chip, it has built-in real time clock circuit, a1MB memory circuitscompose by the AT24C1024, a LCD display circuit composition by YM12864Jand a power supply system contain LM2575and SPX1117. Analog circuit is formof the AD7705A/D conversion circuit, which can form a second channelsimulation signal acquisition system. Among them, the No.1water deep sensoraccess analog signal acquisition, when necessary the second sensor can beaccessed. For the rainfall sensor use a clarinet circuit, so we access the sensor inthe CPU’s counter, and we can get rainfall data by calculating the pulse’s number.One road traffic sensor access in the RS485digital interface to contact CPU.Three kinds of sensors use different system resources, so they won’t influenceeach other. This design use the μC/OS-Ⅱ embedded operating system, programmingRTU software based on ARM7, including the data collection program, datatransmission program of GPRS module, system monitoring interface, theoperation mode program. System interface provide setting parameters of theoperation equipment, and introduce all kinds of different operating mode by usingof various system parameters. This paper gives the software design thought anddetailed design of the software flow chart.This paper laid a foundation for the development of a general system whichhave advanced data transmission in unattended irrigation area and collectioninformation intelligent.
