With the rapid development of city construction, street lighting equipment management scale, diversification of demand, electricity demand is more and more urgent, city lighting intelligent monitoring system of the corresponding requirements are also getting higher and higher. City intelligent lighting control system of new generation will use computer information management and industrial automation control technology and wireless transmission means, all kinds of advanced, for wire, of the city street facilities, control point measurement and other scientific and effective control and management, to achieve the "five remote"(remote control, telemetry, remote control, remote viewing, remote the letter) control, save energy and improve the work efficiency of the advanced management mode, improve the modern management level of city lighting facilities and scientific means. Relying on technology integration, design a practical City streetlight monitoring system. Standardization, openness, universality, stability and scalability become an important evaluation index of new stage city streetlight monitoring and control system of the city street light monitoring system.Based on the discussion of city lighting intelligent monitoring management system project background, research status, problems of the system on the basis of the business process, finishing and confirmation, the system’s functional requirements and non-functional requirements are analyzed, then the system design principles and objectives. Based on the above work, combined with the actual work situation of street management established the logical architecture of intelligent monitoring system for city lighting, architecture is composed of user layer, presentation layer, application layer, service layer, business support layer, data layer. Among them:user layer describes the system user object; said interactive means layer description provides user; application layer description for the user to provide business services; service layer described as front desk service provides background support; business support for third party middleware layer used to describe; data layer describes the carrier and the background data service.System requirements and system architecture were determined, based on it, the functional modules of the system are classified, and the implementation details of each function module are described. At the completion of the detailed design, realization of each function module of the system presented and described, and relates to the system testing process, test environment, test data, test methods, test results were described. In the process of testing we find some problems and deficiencies, to the next step to be improved, this paper also made the related description.In summary, based on the analysis of the street light monitoring business, we design and implement a monitoring and management system for city street lighting industry. At present, the city lighting intelligent monitoring and management system has been put in operation in Jinan, Xuzhou, Wuxi and so on, Zhangjiakou City, running conditions of the system to give the user satisfaction evaluation.
