Existing products of multimedia conferencing systems are almost traditional systems based on centralized management. There is a central control node MCU responding for controlling the entire conference system. MCU collects and exchanges the media information from each participating node, but due to the limited capacity and performance with a server, the excessive meeting stream could cause the MCU bottleneck. Though this centralized control method could facilitate the management, but it brought the MCU overloading, smaller meeting and system instability problems. In recent years, with the development of multimedia conferencing technology, the traditional centralized multimedia conferencing system’s shortcomings exposed continuously, and the distributed multimedia conferencing system architecture came into being, the architecture can optimize bandwidth consumption in the traditional multimedia conference system, and bring us a better multimedia conferencing system. This paper design a multimedia conferencing system optimized processing thought, to provide a better quality conferencing system for user and allow users to get better audio and video experience. First of all, in the framework, conferencing systems architecture is distributed multimedia conferencing architecture. Secondly, in the transmission aspect, using ununiformed slice in transport mechanism based on the negative feedback information, and reasonable transmission in a distributed network. Finally, in the coding aspect, we use the scalable video coding stream transmission. This distributed multimedia conferencing system could provide a better performance multimedia conferencing system.
