With the rapid innovation in mobile communication technology and GPRS network development, the type and volume of business of the mobile communication data services is also increasing rapidly. Followed by the increasing complexity and scale of mobile network, how to quickly locate and analysis the fault of mobile networks and how network monitoring and early warning is especially important. The GPRS dial test system can across the wireless interface and direct access to the core network packet domain network elements, through the signaling call test and business simulation test of the core network elements to take the initiatively dial test, play mobile network monitoring and fault location function.This paper describes the design and implementation of terminal emulator in the GPRS dial test system. First, a few words about the GPRS network technology overview, and in-depth study of the GPRS terminal emulation protocol stack and GPRS terminal emulator designed Finally the process of implementation of the GPRS terminal emulator and test validation.GPRS terminal emulation is the research part according to the relevant standards research GPRS terminal emulator protocol stack, including SM&GMM protocols and SNDCP. Study contains the functionality of the agreement, state machine, as well as various agreements specific processes. Design part of this article according to the protocol of the study and GPRS terminal emulation is the design needs, in accordance with the SM&GMM, business,1wIP (Light Weight the IP, light the IP) SNDCP four modules of the division from the interface and process design two about the terminal emulationcontrol of the design process. In the implementation section, according to the thinking of the the GPRS terminal emulator design ideas and software engineering, data structures and functions to achieve the two gives the overall implementation of methods and pseudo-code. And then follow the step of the test unit testing and system integration the GPRS terminal emulator testing and validation, and to analyze the results of the verification test based on the packet crawl. The end of the paper summarizes the work content and gives advice on the system further improvement work.
