Go is an intellectual game that’s scientific, artistical and competitive, and has become an essential way to educate kids and teenagers. However, more efforts and attempts are needed at go since it is not well-popularized in China currently. Recently, with the dramatic development of mobile devices, more and more smart phones have taken the place in people’s daily lives, thus promoting go with mobile platform is supposed to be quite a promising insight. As mobile users are being more and more critical about the app’s interaction, the most preferred goal turms to be product usability and user experience(UE) instead of just meeting the user functional needs. In order to improve the go teaching and popularize go playing, the paper aims to develop a good UE go app based on multi-touch technology. At first, based on the theory of interactive design and UE, the paper narrowed the target users, well-stating the availability and UE design of go. Then, according to design, the paper classifies go by functionality, procedure’ and framework. At last, by studying Android related technology, the paper discusses the key technology and solution for go. And based on the test in Android, the app’s functionality and UE are analyzed. The app is designed for Android eventually. According to test result, the basic functionalities are achieved and the UE is also great. Therefore, the app that’s designed for good UE plays a guiding role in attracting users and promoting the app itself. In theory, this paper also can be regarded as an example for the design of other similar go or apps. In practice, the application tries a new mode to teach and promote go.
