Small and medium-sized enterprises are indispensable parts of the modern economy. However, with the rapid development of small and medium-sized enterprises, the financing channels are getting narrower and narrower, which restricts the further development of small and medium-sized enterprises to a great extent. At present, the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises of China mainly depends on their own funds and bank loans, but actually it is very difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to obtain loans form banks. What is worse is the global financial crisis taken place in 2008 as well as the policy of the credit crunch having been implemented since 2010, which makes it more difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises’financing. Currently, Dongguan and other cities, as a representative of small and medium-sized enterprises, are facing a most dangerous period from 2008.Although it doesn’t happen that large numbers of small and medium-sized enterprises go bankrupt, there has been a sign of capital chain rupture caused by financing difficulties.Commercial banks, especially those large state-owned commercial banks, have been the main sources of external financing for small and medium-sized enterprises, and their credit supports to small and medium-sized enterprises has played a vital role. With the continuous development of China’s capital market, small and medium-sized enterprises will be the next most important group of customers of the commercial banks. Therefore, Commercial banks’providing credit supports to small and medium-sized enterprises will also be the foundation of their own development.Based on the discussion of the general theory of small and medium enterprises’financing and the comparison of international financing modes, this paper analyzes some exploration and experience for the Industrial and Commercial Bank in Dongguan City of providing credit support to small and medium-sized enterprises under the background of the new situation at home and abroad after the international financial crisis, then discusses the experience suitable for Dongguan City of small and medium-sized enterprises’financing difficulties for the Industrial and Commercial Bank. And then we point out in the form of case that the core of the credit support given by Industrial and Commercial Bank of Dongguan is the innovative modes of small and medium-sized enterprises’credit financing. Based on the above analysis, we consider the government to strengthen macroscopic guidance and the banks to improve the credit business management and pertinently put forward some suggestions of solving the financing problems of small and medium-sized enterprises in Dongguan City under the background of post-crisis in order to offer some reference and guidance to the practice of resolving SMEs’financing difficulties.
