| In theoretical studies of Economic growth, many economists are trying to explain the source ofeconomic growth and the growth process in varying degrees from different angles. Among them, the technical progress and specialization on economic growth is widely recognized. As the trend of regionalspecialization become more and more obviously, this paper takes the regional specialization as the startingpoint, trying to explain the regional economic growth from the perspective of the endogenous division oflabor.Through the review of economic theory:economic growth, endogenous division of labor and regionalspecialization, this paper had studied the dynamic mechanism of the endogenous evolution of labor division-Industrial Agglomeration and Regional Integration, and from the perspective of industry and regional, thistext had examined the industry agglomeration and regional integration how affect technical progress. Andtook the Pearl River Delta as an example, through analyzing the interactions between the three elements, itexplained the relationship between the endogenous division of labor and regional economic growth. Theresults show that: Between the endogenous division of labor and regional long-term economic growth, therehave positive feedback effects; Endogenous division of labor could produce division of the evolution ofpotential by the dynamic mechanism of the endogenous evolution of labor division-Industrial Agglomerationand Regional Integration, and could evolve into a source of long-term growth of regional economic; Theregional specialization mainly through industrial agglomeration and regional integration to influence theregional technical progress; In the long run, the correlation of regional integration and total factorproductivity had an increasing trend, associated degree of industrial agglomeration and regional total factorproductivity was inverted U-shaped relationship. |
