With the rapid development of China’s economy and the increase of the national incomein twenty-first century, sports undertaking gets a rapid development.The scale of the sportsindustry expands and has a fast developing trend. sports industry has become a sunriseindustry in twenty-first Century. As the pillar industry of the sports industry, sports goodsindustry has achieved leapfrog development.In2009, the annual output value of China’s sports goods reached up to75.143billionyuan. As a sporting goods industry leader, the output value of the sports goods listed companyreached up to30billion yuanin2009, which accounted for more than40%and was far aheadof the average in this industry. It can be seen that the sports goods listed company has a greatinfluece on the sports goods industry. Therefore, the systmatic analysis to the prospectus,management strategy, management status and the problems of the llisted company can give areference to the development of sports goods industry iunderthe condition of the goldenopportunity and increasingly fierce competition.This paper investigates eight companies listed in Hongkong,such asLINING(02331.HK)、ANTA(02020.HK)、China Dongxiang(03818.HK)、XTEP(01368.HK)、PEAK(01968.HK) and361Degrees(01361.HK)，Domestic Listed as TOREAD(300005.SZ)and HL CORP (002105.SZ). Firstly, the author analyses the prospectus and managementstrategies,and then analyses the management status of the eight companies from four respectssuch as profitability, operation ability, debt paying ability and growth ability and eightevaluation indexes by collecting the data of their financial statements in recent three years.Finally, the author identifies the problems of the listed companies in management.It comes to the follwing conclusion:1The small number of sports goods listed company does not match the development of sportsgoods industry in China;2the sports goods listed company promoted the development of China’s sports goods;3the sports goods listed companies have an ideal overall profitability, operating capacity andgrowth ability;4sports goods companyies face a lot of risk in operation.It puts forward some countermeasyres to the development of the sports goods industry inChina:1The government should develop and perfect the development policies of the sports goods toprovide the necessary policy support for the sports goods industry; 2the government should Create conditions so that more sporting goods enterprises can getfinancing through the capital market and accelerate the development of sports productindustry;3listed companies of sports goods should establish a strong brand protection awareness4listed companies of sports goods should establish and perfect the diversification of saleschannels.
