This paper analyzed and summarized the basic situation of the world warship market and trade conditions from2001to2010, and making a comprehensive analysis to the development and the trade characteristics of the world warship market. This article further discussed the impact of factors such as economics and politics to the warship market. Also, the article described the rules and characteristics of warship importing markets of Asia and Africa districts, and analyzed the importing situations of recent years and the future trend in the selected countries of these districts, and had the conclusion that the price factor might be the main reason that the warship trade can smoothly operated. The paper also analyzed the possibility of these countries making deals with China simultaneously. The article further related to the importing potential of these countries, predicting the purchasing power of them.By using the gray predicted model, the paper attempted to establish a quantitative relationship between the present and the future military expenditure, and then predicted the development pattern of the military expenditure.The paper also establishes the GM(1,1) model in chronological order, predicting the future state in a scientificial attitude with the software of Matlab. By doing these jobs, we could grasp import regulation of the potential customers, taking corresponding measures in order to take the initiative in the course of trade.Researching international warship market structure and trade development has essential practical significance. First of all, it is conducive to a comprehensive grasp of warship trade development and trade patterns, and provides the analytical background forChinese exports of warships.
