As the industry offundamental raw material in the national economy, non-ferrous metal industry plays animportant role in economic construction. However, as a typical resource-intensive andpollutant emissions from large industry, with the rapid development of China’snon-ferrous metal industry, the environmental pollution is increasingly serious problem.A serious of heavy metal pollution incident after another, the increasing impact receivedthe extensive concern of the society. In view of nonferrous metal industry itself and itsimportant position in the national economy, non-ferrous metals enterprises are payingmore attention to the ecological environment and natural resources, betterenvironmental responsibility for stakeholders becomes enterprise of our countrynonferrous metal development trend. Therefore, it play a more significant meaning thatour non-ferrous metals enterprises to actively implementing the environmental liability.Firstly, this paper discusses the research goal and the research content. Secondly,the paper analyzes and summarizes the three cases that has public influence and has theremarkable characteristics of non-ferrous metal industry pollution. Thirdly, the articleputs forward many existing environmental problems of our country non-ferrous metalindustry, and sorts out the causes of the various issues on the basis of the combination ofdifferent case. Finally, the paper has provided a new theory and method to solve thecomplex environmental responsibility of enterprises in a system and scientific way inorder to bear a better responsibility of nonferrous metal enterprises to protect naturalenvironment.In conclusion, we should grasp of the meaning of nonferrous metals enterpriseenvironmental responsibility comprehensively and aware of the shortcomings of ourcountry enterprise, then we seek the ideas and specific measures that protect theenvironment and promote the healthy development of our country nonferrous metal.Corporate environmental responsibility is not only the things of the enterprises, theguidance of government, the regulation of the law, effective public participation andsupervision, and corporate environmental planning can encourage and promote the enterprises to fulfill their environmental responsibilities. Most importantly, we take theenvironmental responsibility concept into nonferrous metal enterprises developmentstrategy and production and management to urge enterprises to change the mode ofdevelopment, stimulate the creation vigor, enhance image and the core competitivenessof the corporate to achieve the goal that industry, environment and socialcomprehensive sustainable development.
