Simulation Research Of Bullwhip Effect On Service Supply Chain

As the rapid development of service economy necessitated a new research area:Service Science (SS), which combined with supply chain management thought resulting ascientific enriched Service Supply Chain (SSC). Service supply chain is a new researcharea of supply chain management, which widening the meaning of supply chainmanagement and extended supply chain management thought. In nowadays, serviceeconomy development rapid, the research of service supply chain can helps us betterunderstand the services science and promote service economy more prosperity.The bullwhip effect is an important theoretical and practical issue in supply chainmanagement, which the service supply chain and so do. Service cannot be stored，whichcan only take service capability adjustment method to management the order backlog toresolve the service uncertainty；The integration structure of the service supply chainincreases the fluctuation of service supply chain. In this paper, we defining the serviceproduct、service entity、service relations, building a service supply chain bullwhip effectsimulation model by analysis SSC processes. We realized the model on the simulationsoftware Extend, construction a service supply chain bullwhip simulation model based onExtend. Using the ratio of service capacity variance and service backlog variance todescription the service supply chain bullwhip effect, by system simulation experiment toanalysis how services processing time(λ)、service adjustment time(T)、normal servicewait time (W) influence the services supply chain bullwhip effect under different servicearrive time (P)，and give some measures to weaken it.Service supply chain is a new research area, As the study continued to deepen, it willfurther promote the development of service science and better guide the rapiddevelopment services economy. In this paper, we research the bullwhip effect on servicesupply chain; it will better guide the service supply chain operation，at the end of thepaper, some issues and content for further research were given combined with thisresearch.
