Research Of Chinese Enterprises Overseas IPO Financing

This paper begins with the review of Chinese enterprises domesticIPO financing in the past10years and further points out that thenon-validity of the domestic market and investors’ irrationality is theprerequisite of Chinese enterprises overseas IPO financing. Then, theauthor makes an overview of overseas IPO of domestic enterprises indecade years. After that, the author conducts case studies to get themotivations and advantages of Chinese enterprises overseas IPOfinancing. Eight enterprises of the same industry are selected which tookIPO financing in Hong Kong and mainland in the same year for analysisand comparison in the perspectives of IPO background, financingsituation and financial indicators. Finally, the paper discourses theproblems and risks of internal governance and external system and policyof Chinese enterprises which take overseas IPO financing, also putsforward recommendations to solve problems and control risks in order to make Chinese enterprises be more rational, appropriate and timely to useof overseas IPO markets and make financing decisions.
