The Research On Path Selection And Countermeasures Of Low-carbon Cities

People are now paying more and more attention on the energy shortage,environmental degradation and global warming caused by industrialization. Naturaldisasters and abnormal weather caused by climate change have already made greatdamage to people’s lives, and will threat to the existence of human society.Greenhouse gas emission, also named carbon emission, is the main reason of globalwarming. In order to maintain the long-term interests of human society, we mustdevelop low-carbon economy and decrease carbon emission to ease the globalwarming phenomenon.When bring low-carbon economy into city and urban agglomerationdevelopment mode, there come out low-carbon city and low-carbon urbanagglomeration. As the most active and fastest development unit, only chosenlow-carbon economy can city own sustainable development. Nowadays, the tre nd ofregional economic integration is more and more obvious, the contact between thecities is more and closer, urban agglomeration development strategy also has beenchosen by many areas. In such background, based on the conclusion and constructionof low-carbon cities of home and abroad, this paper takes Poyang lake cities circle asan example to explore the development path of low-carbon cities and low-carbonurban agglomeration.In order to give a development path of low-carbon cities and low-carbon urbanagglomeration, analysis of low-carbon development of urban agglomeration is neededto find out the advantages and disadvantages in low-carbon urban agglomerationconstruction and provides support for it. This paper builds a low-carbon urbanagglomeration development evaluation index system according to connotation oflow-carbon urban agglomeration. Evaluation index system is formed of26indexesfrom economy, society, low carbon and cities contact four parts, try to evaluate lowcarbon developmental level of urban agglomeration. Then analyze low carbondevelopmental level of Poyang Lake cities circle base on the evaluate result. Theconclusion is, the low carbon development of Poyang Lake cities circle is progressing,although it was fall behind the development of economy and society, however, it isdeveloping faster and has shorten the gap among low carbon, economy and society. In the end, paper gives out development path of low-carbon agglomeration andcorresponding suggestions from the institution, construction, transportation, industry,the municipal administration, the environment, energy and social angles.
