| With the development of global economy, industrial park has played a more and more important role and become the most common form in the world economy. Relying on the advantageous location, with ten-year construction, Taicang German-funded Industrial Park also became the strong developing power of local economy. Facing with greater opportunity and challenge, how to enhance the core competitiveness of Taicang German-funded Industrial Park under the new environment has become an important problem.The paper researched on the core competitiveness of Taicang German-funded Industrial Park by using the theory of Michael E-Porter’s Diamond Model. The paper also modified the original model, and built the "Industrial Park Diamond" to explain it better. Through the analysis of the four elements and the mechanism, the paper got the fundamental motivation of the core competitiveness of Taicang German-funded Industrial Park. It is emphasized that we should research the strategy of the Industrial Park from the sight of "Diamond Model", and we should make a systematic solution to enhance the core competitive advantage to it. Meanwhile, according to the present situation and the city’s future developing plan, this essay is to illustrate the strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat of the industrial park. Although the developing trend is prosperous, the industrial park also faces many new conditions and difficulties; this essay is to get the developing direction and the measures of enhancing the core competitiveness by using the diamond model from above aspects. |
