The Research Of Folk Life In Immigrant Village Of Shanxi Province

In this paper, though the research of four immigrant villages in TunLi town ----Hui Gong, Chuang Zi, Tai Du and Sang Er, and hope tounderstand immigration situation in the town through this study,which can show the hidden social and historical memory in themigration, and dig out the integration process of the people’s livesand culture, in order to reveal the special significance of the folk lifechanges in the integration process in Shanxi.The paper is divided into three parts, which are introduction, mainbody and conclusion.The introduction includes four parts ---- the object and scope ofresearch, literature review, the purpose and significance of the topic,data sources and research methods.The main part includes four chapters. In the first chapter, "theoverview of immigrant village in Tun Li town Shanxi Province ", whichstarts from the macro-social and ecological background, introducesthe socio-ecological situation of Tun Li town and the origin of namesof Hui Gong, Chuang Zi, Tai Du and Sang E, and overview theirimmigration situation .In second chapter, "the factor of immigration inTun Li town ",it analysis the reasons of immigration, from both naturaland social environment respectively, and classifies the social status of immigrant groups, in order to tap the different roles of the differentidentities of immigrants in the immigration places. The next chapter ,"the public memory of immigrants in Tun Li town”, exploits the socialmemory of the immigrant groups, from the three aspects of sufferingmemory when immigrants left home, immigration pattern and how tosettle. The chapter four,”the folk phenomenon of immigrants in Tun Litown", analysis the folk phenomenon, through field research whichincludes the festival folk, ceremonial folk, folk beliefs and legends, toshow the immigrants lives after integration, and reveal thesignificance and function of the immigration folk culture in socialreconstruction.The last section is an overview of the overall content of the article,which sums up the integration process of immigration in Tun Li town,as well as the special significance which immigrant cultures bring tothe local society.
