Analysis Of The Current Situation And Development Of Chinese Environmental Liability Insurance

Environmental Liability Insurance is a new mode of modern insurance, which has become the representative of new concept as green insurance, it plays a very important role in protecting environment safety. The subject of Environmental Liability Insurance includes responsibility that people are supposed to shoulder when environment is polluted under the guidance of insurance. People who are guaranteed by the insurance can shift accidental risks to the insurance company by handing in insurance fees. In developed countries, Environmental Liability Insurance system has come into a mature stage. On the contrary, it begins late and is not successfully developed in China which involves such defaults as seismic insurance, pollution insurance at sea and oil-dealing insurance etc. As the effective means to compensate environmental pollution object and control environmental pollution, The socialization process of the Environmental Liability Insurance system must to be accelerated.
