| The U.S. subprime mortgage crisis has made quite deep and long-term impactson American and international community society. During the process of reflection onthe sub-prime crisis, the problems of financial regulatory system have been highlyconcerned by American government. The financial regulatory system is the last line todefense crisis and keeps the stability of financial system, however, it didn’t play aneffective role. The outdated model of financial regulation has not matched innovationof financial market, and this is one of the main problems which cause the crisis.Financial regulatory reform has already shown the inevitable trend no matter in termsof crisis or post-crisis period. So this article which based on the analysis of thesub-prime crisis, to make consideration of the U.S. financial regulatory system has areally great significance.This paper is divided into4chapters. The first chapter is the introduction. Atthe beginning it is about the main theories and significance of this theme. Next it tellsthe relevant research views, which are about the reform and introspection on financeregulation in the U.S. from the scholars. And in this part there makes evaluations oftheir views in other to using these as the theoretical basis in the whole paper. In thelast parts it describes the research methods, the possible innovations and the shortagesin this article.The second chapter is about the U.S. financial regulatory system defects andsub-prime crisis. It reviews the development of the finance regulations in the U.S. andintroduces the mode which is called Double-long sub-sector regulatory model beforethe finance crisis. It analyzes the defects of the finance regulation system and therelation with crisis. This part points the overlaps and gaps in many areas of the U.S.finance regulatory. After that it discusses the historical reasons and ideological origins of the formations of the U.S. finance regulatory system. Furthermore it explores thecultural background about the Subprime Crisis.Chapter Three is about the U.S. financial regulatory reform which analyzes theU.S. finance regulatory reform process, including the contents of the U.S. financeregulatory reform in the crisis and post-crisis and the content on the most importantresult of the reform that is Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer ProtectionAct. Additionally, through the analysis of a series of measures introduced by the U.S.government, it comments the shortcomings of the U.S. finance regulatory reform andthe trends in the future.The forth chapter discusses the reflections to the U.S. finance regulatory andreform and points out the implications for China. This part introduces the currentsituation on finance sector in China. Finally it makes conclusions to solve theproblems in China finance regulatory. |
