The Study Of Spare Parts Inventory Decision Of Equipment Maintenance

Based on the inventory control theory and spare parts management theory, applying the methods of modeling and empirical analysis, this article study on the decision making problem of the inventory of the maintenance spare parts in the enterprises. The main points explored are the classification of the spare parts and the strategy for each classification of the inventory. Providing the classification and the strategies, the practical examples are applied for the validation and analysis. The article is divided into five parts. The first part is an introduction, which briefly introduces the background of the problem, the current status of this research at home and abroad and the main content and the framework of this article. The second part is the description of the maintenance spare parts inventory system. There consist of three aspects:supply and demand of system, objective of system and fee structure, classification of spare parts of system. And the spare parts are divided into high-value ones and low-value ones. The third section gives the decision model of high-value spare parts (S-1, S) inventory, with the examples for the validation and analysis. The next is the decision model of the common-value spare parts (r, Q) inventory, also with the examples. The last part is the conclusion and the prospect of the future research.
