| With the fierce competition in modern enterprise, enterprises are looking for better mode of production constantly in order to shorten the production time and satisfy customer. The meaning of this paper is how to satisfy customer requirements preferably. This paper is based on the management of just-in-time production principle, namely JIT production principle. This paper considers a single-machine scheduling problem with the effects of learning and deterioration in the mean time. In this model, job processing times are defined by functions of their starting times and positions in the sequence. The learning effect produced due to the improvement of proficiency and the deteriorating effect produced due to adapt to the environment constantly. The problem is to detemine an optimal combination of the due date and schedule so as to minimize the sum of earliness, tardiness and due date. The practical significance of the objective function is that it can produce inventory cost when the completion time is earlier than the due-date, it can produce the loss of penalty and reputation on the contrary. Because of the different required for the customer, and specific performance of different forms as follows: the common due date, the SLK due date, the different due date. For each specific problem, we show a few properties of the problem, and prove the problem remains polynomially solvable. We introduce polynomial time solutions and specific examples for the problem. |
