The Research On The Interaction Between The Producer Services Trade And The Manufactured Goods Trade In China

In the process of China’s foreign trade development, trade in manufactured goods plays a very important role. At present, China is in the key time of transformation and upgrading of the trade in manufactured goods. This paper draws a concultion that the producer services can promote the trade in manufacture goods’s development through studying the interaction between the producer service trade and the manufactured goods’trade.and provides the suggestion for China formulating our principles and policies, which is of great significance for China’s sustainable development of foreign trade.This paper analyses implication of producer service, and analyses the interaction theory between two sides from services’trade theory of comparative advantage ,the Smiling Curve Theory of the integration between the manufacturing industry and producer service industry, the theory of the Production Blocks and Service Links and the Products’Life Cycle Theory.In the part of empirical analysis , on the basis of the present situation of China’s trade of producer services、manufactured goods , the paper analyzes both sides’interaction. And the analysis illustrates that in China the traditional manufacturing service trade plays the leading role, which greatly lags behind the manufactured goods, moreover, it shows China’s manufactured goods have high competitive ability with lower manufacturing service, and poor innovation. Furthermore, the paper analyses the interaction between the producer service trade and the product trade by regression analysis method, which results in that China’manufacturing service trade import plays more important role in the manufactured goods trade, compared with manufacturing service trade export, but it is not very clear, because in China the manufacturing industry level is in lower development, which needs no a lot of the producers’service trade. The manufactured goods trade takes a certain part in the development of the producer service trade. But the producer service trade plays a very limited role in the manufactured goods trade, which results from China’s poor development of the manufacturing service, and poor service infrastructure. Then the paper offers some suggestions on how to develop China’s producer service trade, and facilitating transformation and upgrading of China’s trade.
