The Quantitative Study Of The Impact Of Entrepreneurship On Economic Growth In China

Entrepreneurship is a symbol of a country’s economic vitality. The more prosperous ofits economy,the more heavy of its entrepreneurial activity. A long history of its prosperouseconomic development was always accompanied with its entrepreneurial history round andround. Therefore, entrepreneurship has been considered as an engine to boost the economicdevelopment. China has made great success in economic development since its reform andopen for more than thirty years.All sorts of its economic agents made great contributions toits economic development. Under a gradually mature environment of the market-orientedeconomy.Non-public-owned economic agents, like private enterprises and individual businesseshave won a prosperous development. And their roles on economic are increasing.Therefore, the study of entrepreneurship of non-public-owned economic agents, especiallythose private enterprises and individual businesses on economic growth is quite necessary,and will play an important role to the future economic development.This paper analyze the influence of entrepreneurship on economic growth. while alsoanalyze the influence of entrepreneurship on employment and tax, the influence overeconomic growth from employment and tax on the base of the combination of thetheoretical analysis and empirical analysis.Firstly, we introduce the relevant theories by following three steps, which include theintroduction of the notion of entrepreneurship. specially the description of its differentemphasis in some areas of study, the description of the significance and status of capital,labor and innovation in economic growth area according to economic growth theory, theexact analysis of some relationships among entrepreneurship, economic growth,employment, tax.Secondly, before we take empirical analysis, we collect data from shanghai and he nanregions which will help us distinguish entrepreneurship easily. By using the cointegrationtest from econometric analysis with eviews5software, we test the relationship betweenentrepreneurship and economic growth on state level and regional level. The result shows that entrepreneurship definitely can promote economic growth, but its role is tiny in shorttime. entrepreneurship can promote employment and tax, however, if we take employmentand tax as two channels to promote economic growth. The role is still tiny. After wecompare the two test results from the regions, we found that entrepreneurship in strongactive region plays more important role on economic growth，employment and tax than thatin weak active region.Thirdly, we collect data of private enterprise from shanghai and henan regions again tocheck the empirical analysis result. These data reassure the correction of our empiricalanalysis, reveal the reason behind the result, at the same time show the existed problemsduring the entrepreneurship process.Finally, we propose some advices to improve the entrepreneurship condition and try tosolve some problems existed.
