Financial center is the inevitable product of world economy and international financial development to a certain extent, and play an important role in human economic life early in the Middle Ages, the influence of the financial center is constant. With China’s growing economic strength, the improving opening degree and the position in world economy, There is a objective requirements of economic strength with a suitable financial center system to serve the economic development, and in China the financial center development lagged far behind, and does not match to the economic strength. The establishment of financial centers in the voice of as one falls, at least more than30cities plan to construct financial center. What is the financial center, what is the cause of the emergence and the development of financial center, How many financial centers our country needs in the globalization of financial center pattern, how to locate the potential financial center of the city of objectively, how financial center layout is the most suitable for the national conditions of our country, these problem has always been urgent to serve. At present, the paper of a city will become a kind of financial center, and continuously promote the development the city is quite a lot, but the paper from the perspective of the global to the analysis of China’s financial center layout does not see more, so I chose the research of our financial center system construction as the title.On the basis of reviewing and analyzing the theory of financial center, this paper establish a financial center maturity index system, then yield the financial maturity scores and rankings of29center city from2003to2009by Using principal component analysis and factor analysis. The paper constructs our country’s financial center system according to the scores and rankings. At last the paper put forward the proposal to the establishment of our country multi-level financial center.This paper consists of five partsThe first part is the introduction and mainly introduces the research background, the significance of the financial center, then review and comment the theory and the related literature of financial center, including formation,development and competitiveness. and then puts forward the research ideas, contents, methods and the possible innovation.The second chapter introduces the basic theory of financial centers, including the financial center of the defined categories, the conditions of a financial centers should have, financial center function of this a few respectsThe third chapter mainly introduces the background of our country construction of financial center, respectively from the necessity of the construction of multi-level financial center system as well as the problem of China’s financial center construction.The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis, on the basis of the above research, this paper constructs the financial center maturity index system and use the SPSS17.0on the29center cities those have great desire to construct the financial center and have a certain economic strength through principal component analysis and factor analysis, then yield financial center maturity ranking from2003to2009.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and suggestions, Combinated with China’s administrative area and the main economic zone geographic distribution and the analysis comparison of29cities comprehensive scoring this paper establishes multi level financial center system, dividing differentiate example city into four levels:national financial center, regional financial center, regional financial center and financial support.
