Discussion On Logistic-Finance In Railway Agency

Currently, with the gradually developed of the logistics enterprises, there are tremendous changes in the internal and external environment that railway faced. simple agents has been difficult to adapt to the new situations. Logistics services gradually extended to other aspects of the value chain. Logistics-financial services is an important aspect of logistics derivative services, and it’s the inevitable outcome of cash flow combined with the logistics. In this paper, there is a research about the mode of logistics-financial services and risk identification and control of China’s railway freight forwarding companies to carrying out the logistics-financial services. Main contents and conclusions are as follows:First, based on the relationship between freight forwarding and modern logistics, there is a systematic analysis of the development of China railway freight forwarding companies from characteristics of the transportation, the mode of transportation services, enterprise development course, mode of operation, characteristics of operation and core competitiveness, etc.Second, combined with the external environment that China’s railway freight forwarding companies are facing, and according to its strengths and weaknesses, propose the difficulties and related countermeasures to carrying out the logistics-financial services.Third, propose the conditions and operation mode of China’s railway freight forwarding companies to carrying out logistics and financial services based on the analysis of Logistics financial model in UPS and CMST and domestic and international logistics-financial development.Finally, give a detailed analysis about the possible risks of China’s railway freight forwarding companies carrying out the logistics-financial services, and how to avoid and control these risk factors.
