| With the rapid development of social economy, the market becomes more competitive. Many promotion strategies appeared in our daily life, the Pre-deposit discount mode is one of them.Pre-deposit discount model is like this:consumers in the market, with a certain amount of money deposited in advance, can enjoy the discounted price provided by merchants during the process of consumption, so the merchants can attract and consolidate their consumer groups, and get ahead of this part of future sales of fund for investment, and at the same time, increasing consumption and liquidity, finally improve the overall business revenue. The Pre-deposit discount model does not allow pre-deposit refund. Other consumers who do not participate can only in accordance with the normal selling price of consumption. Pre-deposit discount model has widely used in hotels, supermarkets, telecommunications and other industrial, such as stored calls to send the bill in communication industry is in effect applied the pre-deposit discount saving ideas.This article assumes that in the duopoly market environment, take hotel and catering industry as an example, study the Pre-deposit discount model. Articles firstly analyze the relevant factors that impacts the hotel pre-deposit discount pricing, in chapter3, established a model to reflect the consumer activity, respectively, to discuss the implementation of pre-deposit of two hotels discount model in three ways:two hotels don’t implement; only one hotel implements, and both two hotels implement. Under the three cases, we mainly discuss the changes in the hotels expected return, and how to formulate the equilibrium price discount.In chapter4, based on the calculated results of chapter3, we analyzed the equilibrium outcome of the three pre-discount model, and studied the effects of pricing strategies of discount factors on the expect return of the mechanism of the hotel, such as the customer degree of risk aversion, discount price sensitivity and so on. Then through the three pre-deposit discount models to compare, we analyze the changes in hotel expected revenue in each case, and come to several intuitive conclusions.The thesis research ideas and finds have a certain reference value on the implementation of other sectors of the pre-deposit discount models, relevant conclusions can also help trade company make better decisions in the implementation of pre-deposit discount mode. |
