Study On The Improvement Of Quality Management Of Tieling Xinda Plastic Color Printing Packing Factory

Since the reform and opening up, China’s plastic packaging industry has made rapid development. However, this rapid development was based on a large number of resource consumption and environmental pollution. This is incompatible with what China advocated that developing with a "energy saving, environmental protection, low-carbon" approach. Thus, the government proposed the "plastic packaging industry development and revitalization of the next three years’planning," in2008. The major idea is that achieving the objectives of structure optimization, efficiency improvement, energy consumption reduction, and technological progress in plastic packaging industry to meet the needs of the fierce international market competition by quality transformation.Xinda Plastic Color Printing Packing Factory of Tieling City is a professional enterprise of plastic color printing, composition packaging products, which has three production lines,20sets of advanced equipment. Since the plant10years ago, after the tireless efforts of company’s leadership and all staff, total assets, operating scale, profit margins have achieved a substantial increase. However, at the same time, there have been many quality issues in the course of company’ continued to grow.This paper studies on the quality management of Xinda Plastic Color Printing Packing Factory. Through a variety of quality control methods, such as cause and effect diagrams, Pareto charts, histograms and other methods, analyzing those quality problems which emerge from every links of production of Xinda factory. Analyses found that the quality problems of Xinda factory are mainly caused by raw materials and process. Then proposing detail quality improvement programs for technical parts which generate most number of quality problems by using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. After finding out there is lack of a unified quality management system in Xinda factory, also proposing the establishment of total quality management methods and procedures in the factory. At last proposing guarantee measures for quality control improvement in the factory.This study not only can solves their urgent needs to enhance their production quality totally, but can also brings Xinda factory production process optimization, efficiency, cost reduction, competitiveness enhancement and other benefits. What’s more, this study also provides a thought and learning for other similar enterprises to enhance production quality, and enhance their competitiveness.
