The development of ski tourism industry not only promotes the pace ofconstruction of old industrial base at northeast of Heilongjiang Province, butalso to accelerate the pace of economy development in Heilongjiang province,and the rapid transformation and upgrading of industrial structure in ourprovince, but the competitive environment from domestic and abroad andoverly rapid development has created some shackles. The dominant position ofski tourism industry of our province is being severely threatened andchallenged at domestic, if we want to maintain the dominant position of the skitourism industry in our province, we must make full use of the resources ofcomparative advantage, while translate snow resource advantages intoeconomy advantage in our province and put emphasis on specialty products inorder to achieve the development path of regional characteristics.Through the use of relevant theory and research methods, the thesisstudy ski tourism industry in Heilongjiang Province from the perspective ofthe development of regional economy with characteristics and fully analyzethe development status of ski tourism industry at domestic and abroad;Combing the related concepts of the ski tourism industry; analyzing the statusof the ski tourism industry in Heilongjiang Province with the theory ofcompetitive advantage;building the model of ski tourism industry withcharacteristics; in order to quickly translate resource advantages of ski tourismindustry of into economic advantages in Heilongjiang Province, rely onspecial industry forming the specialty products, and ultimately form thedomestic and international leading position of ski tourism of our province.
