The Current Status And The Countermeasures Of The Industrialization Of Characteristic Agriculture In Changning County

Changning is a typical mountainous agricultural county. More than90%of farmers’ income comesfrom agriculture, and above70%comes from the development of characteristic agriculture. For nearly adecade, the characteristic agriculture in Changning county has developed. To develop the economy ofChangning, the agriculture of Changning must grow. To develop the agriculture of Changning, thecharacteristic agriculture of Changning must grow. To develop the characteristic agriculture ofChangning, we must first find out the key factors which constrain the development of the characteristicagriculture in Changning county, and then carry out various measures which benefit for the developmentof the characteristic agriculture in Changning county. It is good for increasing farmers’ income,prospering rural areas, and finally narrowing the gap with neighbouring counties.In the thesis, the author first investigates farming branches, towns, villages and the leaders ofagricultural enterprises, and finds out the problems which slow the development of the characteristicagriculture in Changning county. For example, the industry orientation is not accurate enough; thelayout is unreasonable; the planting area is not stable; the guidance of government and farmers’willingness can not be organically combined; the level of industrialization and systematism is still low;the supporting policy is not perfect and the infrastructure is backward. At the same time, the authorunderstands and masters the current situation of development and the advantage of characteristicagricultural industry in the county. To solve the problems, two questionnaires are distributed to knowmore details about the benefit of cultivating characteristic agriculture, the development of the mainagricultural industry, the development of leading enterprise, the construction of professional cooperationorganization, the current situation of irrigation infrastructure, and the investment of agricultural industry.In order to enlarge and strengthen the industrialization of characteristic agriculture, the thesis presentssuggestions on optimizing the industrial layout reasonably, strengthening leading enterprises, innovatingagricultural development, tamping the development of agriculture infrastructure, and perfectingdeveloping mechanism. In response to the suggestions, countermeasures also are proposed, which meetthe needs of the development of industrialization of characteristic agriculture in Changning county andare useful for other districts that are similar to Changning county.
